Team Uncool Fashion Likes: Revolutionary Nicola Formichetti

I have no idea why Lady Gaga came to mind while I was sitting on the couch this morning over looking the Indian Ocean while on Vacation in Durban, South Africa's tropical paradise. I always think of Lady Gaga and style master Nicola Formichetti as a unit, leaning more towards the fashion than the music. He being one of the most 'on it' stylist's in the world, having worked as fashion editor for publications like Dazed, V & Another Magazine.

Im not such a fan of Lady Gaga's music but I am a fan of Nicola Formichetti, the Japanese Italian superstar falls in as one of my greats of 2010. He is currently the fashion director of Vogue Hommes
Japan.

Lady Gaga for Rolling Stone Magazine.

Fashion Director of Dazed for a time, producing some of their most rememberable covers.

New on his blog. Lady Gaga, Dark and Twisted.

Team Uncool Loves: Montaigne Street Paris

Met the guys from the fashion crew Montaigne street in NYC earlier this year. Completely forgot to get there contact details but now I have them since they visited Fabrica today to my surprise.

While they where here we rushed them into the studio for a quick 5 minute photo-shoot. Luckily these guys come prepared and where dressed impeccably in designer venetian suits and an array of amazing sunglasses.

Check out their blog at http://www.montaignestreet.com/

Team Uncool Agrees with: Sports Girl Australia

Just figured out while going through our stats that we get a ton of hits on the blog from a website in Australia called Sportsgirl. They rated us one of their top worldwide fashion blogs.

Why, Thanks Sportsgirl Australia thats awfully nice of you!

Here is what they had to sat: 'Team Uncool, your name isn't fooling anyone. We recognise hipsters when we see them. This South African street style site comes direct from the streets of Jo’burg and will enchant your peepers with its exotic delights. Tip: you might wanna stick your wayfarers on said peepers before checking this one out – bright, unique, quirky, fluro, one-off are a few adjectives that spring to mind.'
