Whilst waiting for the flying cat to leave our small cycladic Island I found the wonderful book A Greek Portolio by Constantine Manos. I quicky grabbed a copy and made for the boat. This book is a class act in reportage photography. Constantine Manos of Greek origin travelled to Greece in the 60's and spent three years photographing the traditional mountain villages and islands. When I finally got to the end and read his biography it was without surprise I read that he has been a member of the magnum agency for many years. Beautiful photos of a time almost passed...check out his work at http://costamanos.com.
